This Easter, from 28th March to 19th April, Lotherton becomes home to dragons from around the world! Come along on a family-friendly adventure to discover the secrets of these mythical beasts. Junior Dragon Wardens must find the eggs of each dragon from across the world. From the Arctic Ice Dragon to the Chinese Lung Dragon, can you find them all nestled across Lotherton estate? On completing your mission, pick up your certificate at Base Camp become an honorary Dragonolist. Included in general admission.

Aberford C of E Primary School PTA Summer fair takes place at Aberford Albion Football Club on Saturday 4th July from noon to 4pm. Stalls are ?20, Food traders are ?40. Set up is from 9am. Please bring your own gazebo if needed.

The first meeting of Aberford Authors in 2026 takes place on 13th January at the Arabian Horse from 7pm to 8.30pm. Meetings take place on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month.

2025-12-31 The Christmas Experience

The Lotherton Hall Christmas Experience continues until 4th January. After Christmas there will be no Santa, Elf Crafts or Magic Shows but you can explore the festive walk, fairy dell, decorated house, Yuletide Yurts and grounds.

2025-12-19 Winter Tours at Lotherton
|
|
During January and February Lotherton Hall is open by tour only, to allow a to deep clean the house and collections. Join a tour to discover the fascinating history of the house, the family that used to live here and the collections that make this a unique place. Tuesday ? Friday 11am and 2pm, Saturday and Sunday 11am, 12pm and 2pm. Tours are included in general admission but must be booked as an add-on to your dated estate ticket due to limited spaces per tour.

Enjoy a Christmas Afternoon Tea at the Arabian Horse in Aberford from Tuesday to Saturday from noon to 4pm. Festive pies and sandwiches , cakes and tea or coffee for ?15, or with a glass of Prosecco for ?20. Bookings only.
